The console features a front viewing window, interior space for a vacuum pump, and accommodation for a large tray dryer such as the FreeZone Stoppering Tray Dryers (pump and tray dryer sold separately). These models offer the broadest range of built-in options including a shell freezer. The upright stainless steel collector coil holds 6 liters of ice before defrosting. A single 3/4 hp HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system cools the collector to -84° C (-119F), suitable for aqueous samples. The Labconco 794801010 Stoppering Tray Dryer lyophilizes moderate to large loads of vials or serum bottles and stopper them under vacuum. They offer temperature control from -40 to +40° C. Options include a 6-port manifold, isolation valve and sample trays. A pneumatic mechanism stoppers containers under vacuum on three large adjustable processing shelves, 16.5” x 12” each. An HCFC/CFC-free refrigeration system and electric heater cool and heat fluid medium that is circulated through the shelves to maintain shelf temperatures within ±1° C. It can withstand temperatures from 0 to 60C and humidity levels up to 100%. To avoid contamination, unintentional release of gas or deviations from protocol, all settings are adjusted via the included remote control module.
