The terminal is intended for operation in environment filled with explosive gases and dust, and can be placed in zones: 1/21 and 2/22. Standard version of the terminal is equipped with 2 serial intrinsically safe RS232 communication interfaces, and with one intrinsically safe RS485 interface. They facilitate communication with equipment predetermined for use in hazardous areas.
