The IM02.1 (MediaBox) communication module enables the expansion of the available range of interface (more)s of the PUE CY10 weighing terminal and 5Y series balances. It is equipped with RS 232, Virtual Com (USB type B) and 4 opto-isolated inputs and 4 semiconductor outputs, which enables interfacing PUE CY10 terminals and 5Y series balances with accessories such as: printers, control buttons (e.g. print-tar), light columns, buzzers, PLC controllers and other control and signalling devices. Assignment of input and output functions is possible from the menu of the PUE CY10 weighing terminal and 5Y series balances.

Character communication protocol is designed for communication between RADWAG balance and external d (more)evice via RS232, Ethernet or Wi-Fi* interfaces. The protocol consists of commands sent from the external device to the balance and responses sent from the balance to the device. Responses are sent from the balance each time a command is received as a response to the command. The commands that make up the communication protocol allow you to obtain information about the status of the balance and ways to influence its operation, for example, they allow you to receive weighing results from the balance, control the display, etc.

The converter features a plastic housing, 1.7-meter-long RS 232 cable with DB9/F plug, Ethernet RJ45 connector, and a power supply permanently connected to the converter with 1.8-meter-long cable. It also enables connection with systems of automatic adjustment and control of industrial processes, and with superior IT systems.
