The Ohaus PR523 Precision Balance is part of the PR Series, expertly crafted to deliver competitive performance without compromising affordability. This precision balance is ideal for essential weighing tasks within laboratory, industrial, and educational settings, offering outstanding accuracy and repeatability. Equipped with RS232 connectivity for seamless communication, it features a backlit LCD for clarity and a user-friendly interface, ensuring smooth operation. The PR Series is meticulously designed to complement any workstation setup.
Applications include basic weighing, parts counting, and percent weighing. The balance is powered by an included AC adapter and communicates via a single RS232 port. Constructed with an ABS top housing, a removable stainless steel pan, and a removable glass draft shield with a sliding top door, it integrates an innovative weigh-below hook, safety bracket, and calibration lock.
Additional construction features offer user-selectable environmental filters, brightness adjustments, auto tare and dim options, selectable span setpoints, software lockout, reset menu, communication settings, and print configurations. It also allows user-configurable project and ID management, along with software-based overload and underload protection, and a stability indicator.
