The VELP AREC 4 Digital has been crafted for laboratories with limited space that require a portable yet powerful and precise magnetic stirrer suitable for a wide range of applications. Its high-resistance plate is impervious to acids, bases, and solvents, complemented by a technopolymer structure that prevents liquid spills from reaching electronic components, ensuring product longevity and easy maintenance. The device is backed by a 3-year warranty (with online registration).
Cutting-edge heating technology guarantees uniform temperature distribution across the plate, providing exceptional efficiency in heat transfer. SpeedServo™ technology, paired with a brushless motor, delivers stable and robust stirring even when fluid viscosity fluctuates.

The brushless motor ensures dependable stirring, with SpeedServo™ maintaining constant speeds despite viscosity changes. Ideal for diverse laboratory tasks, the stirring speed is adjustable from 100 to 1500 rpm.
The AREC 4 Digital can heat up to +550°C safely, with fine temperature adjustments of +1.0°C. Connecting external PT100 or PT1000 sensors allows direct sample thermoregulation up to 350°C, with an accuracy of ±1.0°C. For precision up to ±0.5°C up to 300°C, the VTF Digital controller is recommended. Multiple accessory packages are available for customization.
Safety features include:
- 'Hot surface' warning when temperatures exceed 50°C, even when the unit is inactive
- Overtemperature alert for temperatures above 570°C
Components include an aluminum heating plate with ceramic coating, main switch, stirring and temperature setting knobs, and a display.
