Description by the supplier

Designed to facilitate sophisticated laboratory reactions, the AREC stirrer harnesses cutting-edge heating plate technology, engineered by VELP. This technology ensures uniform temperature distribution, superior thermal effectiveness, and an enduring heat performance. Count on the AREC for handling challenging laboratory reactions, capable of stirring solution volumes up to 15 liters (H2O) within the range of 50 to 1500 rpm. This is made possible by the potent motor and magnetic coupling. The incorporated electronic control expertly adjusts the stirring speed in response to any fluctuations in medium viscosity.

SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL CONVENIENCE FOR LABORATORY TECHNICIANS

The AREC stirrer equipped with a heating plate offers top-tier safety and assists laboratory technicians by featuring construction entirely from technopolymer and a highly durable ceramic plate. This plate is advantageous for its significant resistance to acids, bases, and solvents. When the plate temperature exceeds 50°C with inactive heating functionality, a safety alert is projected. The control panel is strategically located away from heat sources. The technopolymer construction is prudently designed to prevent accidental liquid spills from reaching the electronic components. The remarkably resistant ceramic plate allows for easy cleaning and remains impervious to acids, bases, and solvents. You can easily remove all residues with a damp cloth.

EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF TIME AND SPACE THROUGH AN INNOVATIVE CONTROL PANEL

With a brightly illuminated and intuitive digital display, consistent temperature monitoring is possible. The control panel features two ergonomic knobs; one on the left for temperature adjustment (up to 550°C) and one on the right for stirring speed (up to 1500 rpm). The innovative low-profile design facilitates outstanding ease of use both on the bench and within the laboratory hood.

Please note that it is currently not feasible to integrate AREC with the Cloud Ermes system.

Complete system for AREX-6 Velp, with VTF and rod

AREX 6 by Velp Scientifica The central button activates the heating of the plate only after pressing (more) it, avoiding involuntary switching on. The safety icon informs the operator that the plate is at temperature, preventing possible burns. It will remain illuminated until the temperature is below 50°C. The knobs allow precise speed and temperature regulation with new ergonomics and greater sensitivity. CerAlTop™, High Resistance The CerAlTop™ plate, made of aluminum alloy covered with a ceramic layer, guarantees a homogeneous and fast heat transfer over the entire surface. Furthermore, the thin ceramic layer protects the straightener from scratches and chemicals. UNPRECEDENTED PERFORMANCE The brushless motor allows you to shake up to 20 liters at an adjustable speed from 30 to 1700 rpm. Thanks to the SpeedServo™ system, the speed is kept constant even when the viscosity varies. The Alnico magnet guarantees homogeneous agitation, even in the peripheral areas of the plate and a powerful magnetic coupling between motor and stir bar, a very important aspect when using accessories. MAXIMUM INSTRUMENT PROTECTION AREX 6 is an IP42 product designed to guarantee years of use and resistance in the laboratory. The structure and materials protect the internal parts of the instrument from possible damage. AREX 6 is guaranteed for 3 years. The silicone cover ensures further protection of the instrument from possible spills or splashes. Digital thermoregulation with VTF By connecting VTF digital thermoregulators, your AREX 6 transforms into a superior tool, with a built-in timer to schedule activities. The thermoregulator is ideal for multiple applications and meets the most demanding requirements in terms of precision, reliability and flexibility of use thanks to the innovative FUZZY LOGIC Technology. Automatically adapts thermoregulation to various factors such as power, load and heat dispersion. The VTF guarantees premium performance in terms of temperature control: it allows better alignment with the set temperature (with an accuracy of ± 0.5 °C.) and less initial 'overshoot' (initial discrepancy compared to the set temperature). Furthermore, VTF is equipped with a system to simplify installation on the support rod and facilitate positioning of the Pt100 probe in the most commonly used containers. The two clamps allow height adjustment while a sliding clamp allows horizontal adjustment. ACCESSORIES OIL BATH AND HEATING MANTELS REPLACED WITH SPHERICAL CAPS The new Spherical Caps are the perfect solution for replacing oil baths and heating mantles. Furthermore, they adapt perfectly to both the 135 mm plate diameter and the shape of the tubes allowing a fast heat transfer from the plate to the tube. To increase protection and reduce thermal dispersion, VELP has designed the new PTFE Covers. GREATER VERSATILITY The MultiAlublock™ and the new MonoAlublock™ made of aluminium, are ideal for carrying out numerous stirring and heating analyses, reducing time and space in the laboratory. - MonoAlublock™ are the ideal solution for all those applications that require analysis in tubes of the same size. - MultiAlublock™ are modular and of different types to support various tube sizes. Thanks to their modularity, it is possible to choose the mix that best suits your needs
