Ohaus orbital shakers for extreme environments These OHAUS-designed instruments are used for applica (more)tions that require CO2 and high humidity for optimal cell growth. They are equipped with a remote control, which magnetically attaches to the outside of almost any incubator or rests comfortably on the workbench (as shown in the photo). The base of the stirrer is placed inside the incubator and connected to the controller with a 170 cm cable which allows for easy external control of the speed and time settings. For these characteristics, the motor is equipped with an IP65 degree of protection. Ohaus ISLDMPHDGL Incubating Shaker The Ohaus ISLDMPHDGL Incubating Light Duty Shaker with Opaque Lid (more) is designed to incubate samples from 5° ambient to 65° C depending on the model are optimized for shaking microplates, deep-well plates, or micro-tubes. The ISLD04HDG has an 8 lb (3.6 kg) capacity while the Incubating Microplate Shaker can hold up to four standard or deep well plates. Incubating-Cooling Mini Shaker is designed to hold two microplates or two optional modular tube blocks and comes with an opaque lid for light sensitive samples. Supplied with racks for 50ml tubes held horizontally and 15ml and 1.5/2.0ml tubes held vertically, it takes the place of traditional manual shaking in these applications. Multiple samples can be processed simultaneously in the Benchmixer XLQ’s large capacity racks, saving time and preventing operator fatigue. The vigorous, consistent shaking ensures all samples are exposed to identical conditions within the same batch of samples, as well as between batches. The BenchMixer XLQ creates a true vortex in vertical sample racks by holding the top of the tube stationary while the bottom rotates in a 3.6mm orbit. Time and speed are precisley controlled by the digital microprocessor. A pulse mode allows for more vigorous mixing. Quiet operation, minimal vibration and a long service life are guaranteed by the precisely balanced drive system and powerful motor. Using the BenchMixer XLQ is simple. To load the sample racks, loosen the knobs on the stationary steel rods and raise the top sample plate. One rod is shorter than the other, allowing the plate to be lifted up and swiveled to one side.
