The Stuart SSL4 Shaker offers variable speed options and a large platform, making it ideal for gentle mixing applications. It features an LED display with speed and time controlled via an intuitive knob, enhancing usability. The rocking wave motion is perfect for washing and blotting procedures, while the non-slip mat ensures containers remain secure during operation. It supports digital setting and display of speed and time, accommodating a range of laboratory needs.
Designed to operate between 4 to 40 °C and up to 80% relative humidity (non-condensing), it is suited for use in an incubator or cold room. It provides both continuous and timer operation with an integrated digital timer offering durations from 1 second to 90 minutes or 1 minute to 9 hours, including automatic switch-off and remaining time display. BioCote antimicrobial protection offers an additional hygiene advantage.
The shaking motion is characterized by a consistent rocking wave, supporting a speed range of 5 to 70 rpm with a fixed angle of 7°. Its plateau size of 355 x 355 mm accommodates a maximum load of 10 kg, and the unit dimensions are 360 x 420 x 160 mm with a weight of 10 kg.
