Description by the supplier

OHAUS's intricately engineered rocking and wave shakers are purposed for an expansive array of laboratory operations. The rocking shakers exhibit a tailored degree of rocking motion, whereas the wave shakers produce a subtle trifocal wave motion, resulting in minimal foaming. We offer both digital and budget-friendly analog variants.

Each model encompasses a non-slip mat for secure setup. We also provide a stacking tray accessory to effortlessly amplify the throughput rate.

- Fine-tuning of the inclination angle and velocity is quite straightforward, ensuring optimal blending.

- With our digital models, you can expect consistently reproducible results. Refinement of the inclination angle occurs in precise one-degree increments, followed by a reduction in speed up to 1 rev/min, facilitated through our intuitive touch controls.

- The innovative speed enhancement feature allows gradual velocity intensification to the pre-determined setpoint to avoid untimely splashing. Advanced motor design and electronics ensure a constant oscillatory or wave motion.

Applications

These agitators serve diverse functions, including chemical extractions, blood sample mixing, gel coloring, cell culture stirring, and solubility studies

Operation

Each unit comes with a removable tri-core cord and plug for easy installation.

Structure

Crafted from superior quality Cold Rolled Steel (CRS)

Construction Features

Incorporates a tray with an anti-slip rubber mat

Radwag PUE HX5.EX-1 Weighing Terminal-cover
Radwag PUE HX5.EX-1 Weighing Terminal

PUE HX5.EX terminal is a constructional component of industrial multifunctional load cell scales. It (more) is the most modern RADWAG solution to be used in areas endangered with explosive atmosphere. The HX5.EX is compliant with ATEX directive regulations. The terminal is intended for operation in environment filled with explosive gases and dust, and can be placed in zones: 1/21 and 2/22. Standard version of the terminal is equipped with 2 serial intrinsically safe RS232 communication interfaces, and with one intrinsically safe RS485 interface. They facilitate communication with equipment predetermined for use in hazardous areas. Possibility to add digital inputs/outputs expands the range of instruments compatible with the terminal by robotic elements compliant with ATEX directive. For more demanding customers, RADWAG has developed IM01.EX module, installed in the safe area, which extends the available connector range by Ethernet, USB, 4-20mA/0-10V analog outputs, Profibus DP and additional digital inputs/outputs. This enables communication between the terminal and external devices such as barcode scanners, printers, external displays, control buttons, light signalling towers, other controlling/signalling devices, systems for automatic process control and superior IT systems. Models There are 4 different models: PUE HX5.EX-1: 2 × RS232, RS485 - standard design, PUE HX5.EX-2: standard design + 4IN/4OUT, PUE HX5.EX-3: standard design + 4IN, PUE HX5.EX-4: standard design + 4OUT. Mechanical Design The housing, made of AISI 304 stainless steel, ensures high ingress protection, IP66 / IP68 (up to 1.5 m immersion). The terminal features 5" colour LCD, covered with polycarbonate protecting it against shocks, and a membrane keypad. Ease of operation, clear menu and intuitive information arrangement on the display guarantee comfort of operation. Hermetic intrinsically safe interface connectors are located on the back side of the housing. Stable bracket enables mounting the terminal either on a flat horizontal surface or on the wall. The device tilt can be easily adjusted. Power Supply The PUE HX5.EX terminal can be connected to the mains only with a certified intrinsically safe power supply, manufactured by RADWAG: PM01.EX-1 power supply intended for operation in hazardous area: zone 1 and 2 where there is a risk of explosion due to mixture of air with vapour, mist or gas, classified as explosion group IIC, IIB and IIA and as temperature class T1, T2, T3, T4. zone 21 and 22 where there is a risk of explosion due to mixture of air with dust, flammable fibres and volatile fuels, classified as explosion group IIIC, IIIB and IIIA. PM01.EX-2 power supply intended for operation in safe area, equipped with intrinsically safe circuits which may be placed in: zone 1 and 2 where there is a risk of explosion due to mixture of air with vapour, mist or gas, classified as explosion group IIC, IIB and IIA and as temperature class T1, T2, T3, T4. zone 21 and 22 where there is a risk of explosion due to mixture of air with dust, flammable fibres and volatile fuels, classified as explosion group IIIC, IIIB and IIIA. IM01.EX Communication Module The terminal’s interface range can be expanded using IM01.EX communication module, connected to the terminal via an intrinsically safe RS485 interface, placed outside the hazardous area. Models: IM01.EX-1 Standard: 2x RS232, USB,4 I/4 O, Ethernet IM01.EX-2 analog output 4-20mA/0-10V IM01.EX-3 12 I/12 O, digital IM01.EX-4 Profibus DP IM01.EX-5 PROFINET IM01.EX-6 CANopen (available soon) IM01.EX-7 DeviceNet (available soon) IM01.EX-8 RS485 IM01.EX: ETHERNET IP (available soon) Multifunctional Software Terminal software facilitates processes such as weighing, parts counting, dosing, and percent weighing. Terminal’s information system is based on databases (users, products, weighings, packaging, formulations, customers) and ALIBI memory which guarantees stored data safety. The interfaces enable communication between the terminal and the accessories intended for operation in the hazardous and non-hazardous areas. Accessories: barcode scanners, printers, external displays, control buttons, light signalling towers and other controlling/signalling devices. The terminal can communicate with systems for automatic process control and superior IT systems.
