This Perkin Elmer TurboMatrix 40 Headspace Sampler was removed from a university lab where it was su (more)rplus to requirements. The item is in good cosmetic condition and powered up. When powered up, the item ran a sampling method that displayed the motor in good working order, we are unable to test this item further at our facility.

This Medline Scientific Incubated Shaker Model - IS-971RF was removed from a university lab where it (more) was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included). It was set to 37˚C but only reached 31˚C. The display would keep reverting to 22.2˚C as well. There was a note from the lab stating that it had some heating issues. Inside dimensions - L89.5 x W63 x D48cmPlatform size - 46 x 76cm The shaker speed ran up to 160rpm. We tried setting it to the max of 300 but it wouldn't run at that. Cosmetically it is in a reasonable used condition but all the light tubes work bar one. It is sold for spares/repairs due to the fault.

Sanyo MDF-U442 Medical Freezer Lab This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to r (more)equirement. It is in good cosmetic condition and powers on, but it is not functional as it stays at ambient room temperature and triggers the alarm when the desired temperature is set. Therefore, it is listed as Spares/Repair.

This Leica TCS SP 2 Confocal Microscope System was removed from a university lab due to a fault. The (more) university reported "Apparently it was a computer issue, in that the computer failed and would no longer talk to the confocal and nothing could be done to remedy the issue since Leica wont support it, I’m told the actual microscope and lasers are fine (if old!)" From our assessment, the microscope appears to be fully working and it could be split from the main system and used on its own. The controllers etc for the automated stage also appeared to work fine. It is just the AOBS head and control system that doesn't want to communicate with the PC. The system has been fully connected up at our facility. We have replaced the PCi card but that did not generate any success either. When starting the Leica PC program it shows the following message: "AOBS Crystal Ctrl (2)" reports 0 unlocked PLL channel(s)! Please lock channel(s) or reset controller. The AOBS is the scanner head which is attached to the main control desk. We have also tried the system with another identical head that we have in stock. That gave us exactly the same result. It is sold for spares/repairs. Please note that the marble table in the photos was retained by the lab.
