The SpeedMill PLUS by Analytik Jena is a highly efficient homogenization system designed for a variety of starting materials, facilitating the subsequent isolation and purification of DNA, RNA, or proteins. Engineered for continuous operation, this system utilizes vertical movement to impart high energy efficiently into the sample, ensuring homogeneous disruption without damaging target molecules. Homogenization time ranges from 30 seconds to 4 minutes, depending on the material, with a programmable homogenization step ranging from 1 second to 4 minutes and 59 seconds. It can perform 1 to 99 cycles and includes up to 6 protocol steps, with the ability to store 20 distinct protocols. The system features a passively cooled sample holder, maintaining temperatures as low as -80°C for effective sample management.
