Scilogex D160 Homogenizer Package - Drive Motor DS-160/10 The Scilogex D160 Homogenizer can rapidly  (more)homogenize, disperse, and emulsify samples from 0.1-250ml solids or liquid media depending on the generating probe. During operation, the suspended material is drawn into the core of the homogenizer by a rotor turning at up to 30,000rpm. The material is repeatedly cycled through narrow slits in the probe where it is rapidly sheared and disintegrated by high shear. Complete homogenization of tissues (muscle, liver, breast tissue, etc.) is usually achieved in a few seconds. Little, if any, heat is produced during the process. Benchmark Pulse 150 Ultrasonic Homogenizer with 6mm Horn and Soundproof Box The Pulse 150 Ultrasonic (more) Homogenizer uses cavitation and ultrasonic waves to break cells in suspension, shear DNA and prepare samples for ChIP assays. With up to 150 watts of power, the unit processes samples from 0.1 ml to 150 ml (with the appropriate horn). All components needed for homogenization are included with the Pulse 150 – a controller, transducer, temperature probe, 6 mm diameter titanium alloy horn and wrenches to change horns.
