MP Biomedicals FastPrep-96 is a versatile high-speed homogenizer designed for exceptional high-throughput sample preparation. Tailored for resistant samples, this instrument uses a high-speed linear motion to completely disrupt tissues and cells within seconds through the concurrent beating of specialized Lysing Matrix beads against the sample material. This advanced system significantly reduces work hours during sample preparation and facilitates the extraction of large yields of intact DNA, RNA, proteins, and other metabolites.
