The unit powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included). When set to -20˚C it dropped to -12˚C after running for 5 hours. It is not designed to heat. Standard version of the scale is equipped with 2 serial, intrinsically safe RS232 communication interfaces, and with one RS485 interface.
