Diverse Applications:

- Density determination: Appropriately determine the density of solids or liquids. The built-in "weigh below" hook allows the testing of specific gravity for items that don't fit the weighing pan.
- Molar Concentration: Facilitates the calculation of a sample's mass and automatically converts it to the molar concentration.

The Scout balance's outstanding overload protection boasts of a high-strength stainless steel weighing pan and an impact-resistant plastic pan support. The system allows the balance to safely handle loads up to ten times its rated capacity, ensuring longevity even in demanding educational environments. Moreover, the integrated transport lock safeguards the load cell against damage during stacking, transport, and storage.
