INTENDED USE THB-R PC software is designed to monitor and register indoor ambient conditions, wherei (more)n the said monitoring is based on data collected by measuring devices of Radwag production. Two THB software versions are offered: THB-R-Single – intended for integration with THB-3/2 ambient conditions module, THB-R-Multi – intended for integration with THB-R ambient conditions recorder. Overview THB-R PC software is responsible for establishing communication with measuring devices. It operates as a user interface intended for collected data presentation, archiving, reporting and for carrying out measuring devices setup. The software carries out constant readout of air temperature, relative air humidity, atmospheric pressure and vibrations. Additionally it calculates air density. Current metrological parameters values are demonstrated in a form of a time diagram, wherein the last 5 minutes are presented. The measurements may also be archived in a local database, MS Access format. The record takes place in a specified time interval. Database files are formed using one of four user-defined methods: daily, weekly, monthly, combination of all. THB-R-Multi version of the PC software enables record of measurements collected by THB-R Ambient Conditions Recorder. The stored data may be previewed and printed in a form of reports and diagrams. THB-R installation package comprises THB-Network Viewer allowing local network users to preview current indications of measuring units. Cooperation with measuring devices The software cooperates with measuring devices such as ambient conditions modules of RADWAG production. The modules are intended for operation with THB-R-Single or THB-R-Multi software version. Depending on the used device, communication between the software and the device may be established via RS 232 or USB interface. Reason for return - Investigate faults and re-list accordingly: - We received the item with a cracke (more)d glass piece to the photoionization detector. We replaced it with a piece that was provided. - We piped the system with N2 carrier gas and gas lines carrying product to the inlet of the GC. We turned on the switch to the Photoionization detector, under high sensitivity, and can visibly see it turn on. The source is aligned. The detector is aligned.  - We programmed the event on the software to turn the valve of the 10-way valve accordingly to enable the carrier gas to bring the product through the GC. - We introduced acetone via the sample loop (inlet gas) - we saw no peaks. We introduced acetone via injection - we saw no peaks.  - I leaked checked the piping including within the detector - no issues. I checked the point of outlets to make sure flow is continuous too - no issues. - The mechanism of the valve turning - it made a cranky sound, and I am not convinced it is turning the valve.  - There may be two issues. I had figured it was the valve so I tried injecting acetone directly into the line, but we could not see any peak of acetone. (Issues with the detector?) I am not sure if the valve's squeaking/cranky sound implies it is turning but there might be an issue here too. This SRI 8610C GC Gas Chromatograph System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up but we were unable to test it further at our facility. The lab did confirm however, that is in good working order. It is in very good cosmetic condition with only very minor marks from use.
