The Hoefer TE62 Standard Wet Transfer Tank with Cooling Chamber is a high-capacity, temperature-controlled system designed to efficiently transfer proteins and nucleic acids from polyacrylamide or agarose gels onto nylon, nitrocellulose, or PVDF membranes. Equipped with a built-in ceramic heat exchanger, the TE62 provides excellent temperature regulation when paired with an external cooling water bath, ensuring consistent results and preserving sample integrity.

With the capacity to hold up to four 15 x 21 cm cassettes simultaneously, or as many as sixteen 7 x 10 cm mini gels, this unit is ideal for labs with high-throughput transfer requirements. The TE62’s superior tank design and strong, uniform electric field support even transfers across all gels, while color-coded, easy-to-assemble cassettes ensure proper orientation and apply equal pressure across the gel stack to prevent distortion.
