Dry Block Heaters
Purpose-built for daily utilisation in a laboratory environment, dry block heaters cater to processes necessitating superior temperature stability. These units encompass an easily interchangeable modular block, with a diverse range of 40 alternatives at your disposal.
The close contact between tube and block guarantees maximum heat retention, facilitating efficient heating. For cost-effective options, consider analog models. These heaters operate within a low-temperature range from 5°C above ambient temperature to 100°C, and a high-temperature range from 75°C to 150°C. Temperature adjustments are made via two user-friendly knobs.
For regular, reproducible outcomes, opt for digital models. The operational temperature range for these models is slightly higher, extending from 5°C above ambient temperature to 120°C. Temperature and time are controlled with intuitive touch pad controls and visible LED displays.
The digital models of these heaters not only possess remarkable temperature uniformity and excellent thermal stability but also include a unique single point calibration feature for accurate real-time temperature display.
Applications
The dry block heaters are versatile in usage, suitable for a range of applications including culture incubation and activation, enzymatic reactions, immunoassays, determination of melting / boiling points, isothermal incubation, and nucleic acid denaturation.
Displays
The digital variants sport an LED display. In contrast, the analog models have adjustable knobs with clear markings.
Operation
Each unit includes a detachable three-wire cable and plug for ease of use. However, the analog models necessitate an external thermometer or temperature adjustment tool for setpoint modification.
Structure
The ruggedly built heaters feature painted steel armor and a support bar attachment complemented by a fixing knob.
Construction Features
Keypad controls and an audible alarm are distinctive features of the digital models.
