Description by the supplier

Designed to facilitate sophisticated laboratory reactions, the AREC stirrer harnesses cutting-edge heating plate technology, engineered by VELP. This technology ensures uniform temperature distribution, superior thermal effectiveness, and an enduring heat performance. Count on the AREC for handling challenging laboratory reactions, capable of stirring solution volumes up to 15 liters (H2O) within the range of 50 to 1500 rpm. This is made possible by the potent motor and magnetic coupling. The incorporated electronic control expertly adjusts the stirring speed in response to any fluctuations in medium viscosity.

SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL CONVENIENCE FOR LABORATORY TECHNICIANS

The AREC stirrer equipped with a heating plate offers top-tier safety and assists laboratory technicians by featuring construction entirely from technopolymer and a highly durable ceramic plate. This plate is advantageous for its significant resistance to acids, bases, and solvents. When the plate temperature exceeds 50°C with inactive heating functionality, a safety alert is projected. The control panel is strategically located away from heat sources. The technopolymer construction is prudently designed to prevent accidental liquid spills from reaching the electronic components. The remarkably resistant ceramic plate allows for easy cleaning and remains impervious to acids, bases, and solvents. You can easily remove all residues with a damp cloth.

EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF TIME AND SPACE THROUGH AN INNOVATIVE CONTROL PANEL

With a brightly illuminated and intuitive digital display, consistent temperature monitoring is possible. The control panel features two ergonomic knobs; one on the left for temperature adjustment (up to 550°C) and one on the right for stirring speed (up to 1500 rpm). The innovative low-profile design facilitates outstanding ease of use both on the bench and within the laboratory hood.

Please note that it is currently not feasible to integrate AREC with the Cloud Ermes system.

Matrix Thermo Scientific 8-Channel Equalizer electr. Pipette 5-250 µl 2032-11

Manufacturer: Matrix / Thermo Scientific Model: 8-Channel Equalizer Pipette, 5-250 µl (P/N 2032-11)  (more)Description: Expandable Tip SpacingThe Matrix Equalizer pipette's tips can be spaced anywhere from 9 mm (96-well microplates) to 14.15 mm (12-13 mm tube rack spacing or 48-well plates) in increments of 0.1 mm. The distance between tips is always equal— simply set the desired spacing anywhere on the scale and pull or push the rod to expand or contract the tips. This can be done while the tips are empty or full, enabling the quick and easy transfer of multiple samples at once between labware with different configurations. Tip Spacing Down to 4.5 mmThe Matrix Equalizer 384 pipette features the same unique tip spacing mechanism but allows you to set the tip spacing down to 4.5 mm—perfect for multichannel dispensing from 96-well plates into 384-well plates or for multi-lane sample loading of agarose gels. The 8-channel expands to 14.15 mm, the 12-channel to 9 mm. Ergonomic DesignLight and well-balanced, the pipette design keeps your hand close to the pipetting surface and incorporates a highly leveraged tip ejector that utilizes two or three fingers (and not the thumb). Light Tip Application and EjectionDesigned in conjunction with Thermo Scientific Matrix pipette tips, ensure superior tip fit with minimal application/ejection forces

BD Phoenix M50 Automated Identification & Susceptibility Testing Instrument

This listing is for a two stacked BD Phoenix M50 Automated Identification & Susceptibility Testing I (more)nstrumentThe BD Phoenix™ M50 instrument provides accurate and timely identification and susceptibility results to guide appropriate therapy and patient management decisions. The system can hold up to 50 panels at a time and can be stacked to maximize limited laboratory space. AST Panels have up to 29 antibiotics on a single panel to reduce offline testing and provide a true MIC value based on current CLSI breakpoint standards. It has demonstrated performance in detecting emerging resistance. It incorporates the use of an oxidation reduction indicator, turbidometric growth detection, full on-panel antimicrobial concentrations and the BDXpert™ System. Together these make up the Phoenix Susceptibility System resulting in rapid, accurate and reliable antimicrobial susceptibility results. These results are further enhanced by specific delayed resistance features, providing additional assurance that Phoenix results are not only rapid but accurate. The inclusion of all reported antimicrobial concentrations on the panel provides the foundation for detection of emerging resistance. Two Stacked BD Phoenix M50 Instruments with PC specifiations:Height: 42 in (107 cm)Width: 53.5 in (136 cm)Depth: 30 in (76.5 cm)Clearance (left): 3 in (7.62 cm)Clearance (right): 18 in (45.72 cm)Weight: 240 lb (109 kg)Power requirements: 90-264 VAC; 47-63 Hz 15 amp circuit

Water bath from 25°C to 100°C for the laboratory The ring baths for columns, Erlenmeyer flasks or be (more)akers are suitable for continuous operation, even unattended, thanks to the standard level and lack of water monitoring. LAUDA Hydro ring water baths are available in five models, all featuring a removable perforated lid with a set of heat-resistant plastic rings. - Operations in a temperature range from 25 to 100°C. - Models H 11 V, H 19 V have been specially designed for safe use in fume cupboards. - The housings are made of stainless steel to allow their use even with chemically aggressive fluids. - Temperature regulation by knob with graduated scale - Lid with set of rings for opening the modular tank - Water level and lack control, for continuous unattended operations - The support rods (length 600 mm, diameter 12 mm), made of stainless steel, are included as standard - Hydro is protected against dry running by an electro-mechanical valve. In case of low water, the heating is stopped In the photo, simple control panel, with knob, graduated scale, warning light and safety valve. Ring opening, to adapt to different types of glassware. Standard water level regulator for continuous operation, even unattended. Safety system in case of water shortage LAUDA evaporization baths are protected against dry running by a cut-off device for lack of water (thermostatic overvoltage). The nut located on the control panel will be used to disarm the security system. Water level regulator as standard Thanks to this accessory, the loss of water inside the instrument (through evaporation) is compensated and the water level is kept constant. Furthermore, it allows use at temperatures below ambient temperatures, with a minimum of approx. 3°C above tap water temperature.
