The Amersham Biosciences ÄKTAxpress FPLC System is a pre-owned liquid chromatography platform specifically designed for automated, multi-step purification processes. This system is optimized for the purification of Histidine-tagged and Glutathione S-Transferase (GST)-tagged recombinant proteins, accommodating clarified or crude cell lysates seamlessly. It supports a variety of purification protocols, incorporating up to four chromatographic steps such as affinity chromatography, desalting, ion exchange, and gel filtration.
