Telstar EF 6 Biological Safety Cabinet

The Telstar EF 6 is a sophisticated Class II biological safety cabinet designed to provide researchers with the optimum environment for handling bioagents safely under sterile conditions. It allows safe manipulation of experiments through a strategically designed working opening, ensuring optimal safety without the need for complete physical shielding.

• Average downflow in working position: 0.36 m/s ±0.05.
• Average downflow in standby: 0.10 – 0.20 m/s.
• Average inflow at the top of the working opening: 0.28 m/s.
• Average inflow through the entire working opening: > 0.5 m/s.
• Air exhaust rate in working position: 600 m³/h ± 25.

The cabinet boasts a low sound level of < 56 dB A and is equipped with excellent lighting features, including 2x TL-high output lamps that provide a lighting intensity of 1550 Lux. For sterilization, UV-C lighting with a wavelength of 253 nm is employed.

Filter systems are robust, with a G3 pre-filter and Astrocell HEPA (H14) filters for downflow and emission. The spacious working opening and area, along with its ergonomic dimensions and sturdy weight of 315 kg, make it ideal for intensive laboratory environments. Additionally, its height can reach up to 2297 mm, including the base, ensuring it fits into various workspace setups seamlessly.
