Telstar EF 4 Biological Safety Cabinet

The Telstar EF 4 is a Class II Biological Safety Cabinet designed for secure work with bioagents in sterile conditions via a work opening, without full physical shielding of the experiment. It features an average downflow of 0.36 m/s ±0.05 in working position and 0.10 – 0.20 m/s in standby. The average inflow at the top of the work opening is 0.28 m/s, while the inflow through the entire opening exceeds 0.5 m/s. The air exhaust capability is 400 m³/h ± 25, with a sound level below 57 dB A. It is equipped with two high-output white TL lights at 1000 Lux, and a UV-C lighting system with a wavelength of 253 nm. The system includes a G3 pre-filter (1150 x 445 mm), an Astrocell HEPA 12P6+ downflow filter (610 x 1220 x 69 mm), and an Astrocell HEPA 4P4 emission filter (457 x 457 x 69 mm). The working opening dimensions in operating mode are 165 x 1190 mm, with a maximum opening of 350 mm. The working surface measures 1109 x 440 mm, and the overall dimensions are 1333 x 844 x 1552 mm, reaching a total height of 2297 mm including the base. The unit weighs 255 kg.
