All products on our website are in stock and can be delivered with installation by our own service engineers. All systems are delivered with warranty!   VICI PDDs (pulsed discharge detectors) utilize a stable, low powered, pulsed DC discharge in helium as an ionization source. Eluants from the column, flowing counter to the flow of helium from the discharge zone, are ionized by photons from the helium discharge. The bias electrode(s) focus the resulting electrons toward the collector electrode, where they cause changes in the standing current which are quantified as the detector output. Performance is equal to or better than detectors with conventional radioactive sources. In the electron capture mode, the PDD is a selective detector for monitoring high electron affinity compounds such as freons, chlorinated pesticides, and other halogen compounds. For this type of compound, the minimum detectable quantity (MDQ) is at the femtogram (10-15) or picogram (10-12) level. The PDD is similar in sensitivity and response characteristics to a conventional radioactive ECD, and can be operated at temperatures up to 400°C. For operation in this mode, He and CH4 are introduced just upstream from the column exit. In the helium photoionization mode, the PDD is a universal, non-destructive, high sensitivity detector. The response to both inorganic and organic compounds is linear over a wide range. Response to fixed gases is positive (increase in standing current), with an MDQ in the low ppb range. The PDD in helium photoionization mode is an excellent replacement for flame ionization detectors in petrochemical or refinery environments, where the flame and use of hydrogen can be problematic. In addition, when the helium discharge gas is doped with a suitable noble gas, such as argon, krypton, or xenon (depending on the desired cutoff point), the PDD can function as a specific photoionization detector for selective determination of aliphatics, aromatics, amines, as well as other species. Available for 110 VAC and 230 VAC.

LAUDA Hydro H 9 V ring water bath-cover
LAUDA Hydro H 9 V ring water bath

Water bath from 25°C to 100°C for the laboratory The ring baths for columns, Erlenmeyer flasks or be (more)akers are suitable for continuous operation, even unattended, thanks to the standard level and lack of water monitoring. LAUDA Hydro ring water baths are available in five models, all featuring a removable perforated lid with a set of heat-resistant plastic rings. - Operations in a temperature range from 25 to 100°C. - Models H 11 V, H 19 V have been specially designed for safe use in fume cupboards. - The housings are made of stainless steel to allow their use even with chemically aggressive fluids. - Temperature regulation by knob with graduated scale - Lid with set of rings for opening the modular tank - Water level and lack control, for continuous unattended operations - The support rods (length 600 mm, diameter 12 mm), made of stainless steel, are included as standard - Hydro is protected against dry running by an electro-mechanical valve. In case of low water, the heating is stopped In the photo, simple control panel, with knob, graduated scale, warning light and safety valve. Ring opening, to adapt to different types of glassware. Standard water level regulator for continuous operation, even unattended. Safety system in case of water shortage LAUDA evaporization baths are protected against dry running by a cut-off device for lack of water (thermostatic overvoltage). The nut located on the control panel will be used to disarm the security system. Water level regulator as standard Thanks to this accessory, the loss of water inside the instrument (through evaporation) is compensated and the water level is kept constant. Furthermore, it allows use at temperatures below ambient temperatures, with a minimum of approx. 3°C above tap water temperature.
