The GE Healthcare ÄKTApurifier UPC10 System is a highly versatile and modular liquid chromatography system designed for the fast and reliable separation of proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids through FPLC methods. It's engineered to purify microgram to milligram quantities of proteins with operational flow rates ranging from 0.001 to 10 ml/min under pressures up to 25 MPa. Its flow rate range is adaptable: from 0.01 to 100 ml/min in isocratic and gradient modes, with a doubled range in double mode up to 200 ml/min. It handles pressure up to 10 MPa accurately, ensuring pH stability from 1 to 13, or 1 to 14 with limited exposure. The system features a high degree of accuracy and reproducibility in flow rate and gradient composition. With a total volume of less than 800 µl/module, the wavelength range between 190–700 nm can be utilized in 1 nm steps. The system's comprehensive components include a UPC-900 monitor, P-900 and P-960 pumps, valves, and a fraction collector, making it an ideal solution for laboratory professionals.
