The Sigma 2-16P Centrifuge with 15300/min Rotor was previously utilized in a university laboratory, now available as it was surplus to their needs. The centrifuge is fully operational and powers on without issues. At speeds exceeding 10000 rpm, a whistling sound can occur, likely due to the lid seal. Recently, new lid struts and QR lid release plugs have been installed. This unit includes a Sigma Nr.12148 rotor capable of running at 15300/min. The centrifuge is well-maintained, exhibiting a good used condition. Measurements are as follows: height of approximately 17 cm, with a center bore of 10.8 mm and tube holes measuring 10.8 x 36.2 mm, accommodating 24 samples.
