The Eppendorf 5427R Refrigerated Centrifuge, offered as a pre-owned system, is designed to meet a wide range of centrifugation needs in the laboratory. Operating within a speed range of 100 to 16,220 rpm, adjustable in 50 rpm increments, it provides precise control and flexibility for various applications. The equipment offers a relative centrifugal force (RCF) from 1 x g to 25,001 x g, also in 50 x g increments, ensuring optimal separation results.
With a maximum kinetic energy output of 9,920 J and a permissible density of up to 1.2 g/mL at maximum RCF or rpm, this centrifuge is capable of handling demanding tasks. Its temperature control ranges from -11°C to 40°C, making it suitable for temperature-sensitive samples.
The run time can be set from 10 seconds to 9 hours and 59 minutes, including an infinite run mode. The time adjustments are finely tuned: 10-second increments for durations up to 2 minutes, 30-second increments for intervals from 2 to 10 minutes, and 1-minute increments for longer spans.
Compactly designed with dimensions of 319 x 540 x 254 mm and weighing 30 kg, the unit is easy to integrate into any laboratory space.
This model is equipped with an Eppendorf FA-45-48-11 biocontainment lid and a fixed angle rotor capable of reaching speeds of up to 12,700 rpm, accommodating up to 48 micro test tubes of 1.5 mL or 2.0 mL each, ensuring safety and efficiency in every run.
