Beckman Coulter Avanti J-25 Centrifuge This item was removed from a university laboratory where it w (more)as surplus to requirements. The centrifuge powers on and is in fair cosmetic condition. The condenser appears to be functional as the unit begins to cool, but a drive error is displayed on the centrifuge.Upon inspection, it was found that the motor had been disconnected, the front panel removed, and most wiring disconnected. This Beckman Coulter Avanti J-E Centrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to (more) requirements. The unit powers up but we were unable to test it further as we do not have a compatible rotor in stock. We think it requires a rotor with a magnet fitted. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks.
