This KNF Neuberger Laboport Diaphragm Pump Type - N840.3 FT.18 was removed from a university la (more)b where it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and is in good working order. It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with some marks from use.

It is in good cosmetic condition and powers on. The previous client has stated it was fully functional when last used. The table shown in the second image is not included. This system was removed from a lab as it was no longer required. It was in full working order prior  (more)to removal from the lab. An engineer from Pacific Biosciences prepared the system for removal from the lab, including removing all the systems cladding, but unfortunately had to cut a few cables between the main unit and the environmental chamber. Whilst the blade server is included with the system, it has been wiped, so software may need reinstalling if you intend to use the system in full again. Strangely the information plate on the back of the unit just says 'PacBio RS' and not 'PacBio RS II' as would be expected, but the lab called it an RS II, and the cladding on the front says RS II, so we presume this is RS II. The engineer said that whilst getting the unit up and running again might be difficult, there is an enormous value of the system in parts. Apparently the camera part alone cost £125k. We have not removed any parts from the system whatsoever.

One of them holds the electronic module, and the other precise mechanical measuring system. High measuring accuracy is guaranteed by semi-automatic adjustment system with external mass standard. The weighing pan made of aluminium is covered with cork layer and features centering holders for the weights. The APP 5Y.KO series features an intuitive menu supporting a user in instrument operation. Correct operation of the mass comparator requires applying a special anti-draft shield which comes standard with the instrument.
