Product Description
This Applied Biosystems 7500 Fast Real-Time PCR System, complete with PC and necessary software, was previously utilized in a university laboratory and is now available as surplus. It is in working condition, powered up, and connected to a Dell Optiplex PC. The system has undergone inspection and re-certification by a service engineer. The PC, accompanied by a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, includes Life Version 2.3 7500 software and has a fresh installation of Windows 7. Functional tests for USB connectivity, CCD, filter wheel, shutter, lamp, and thermal cycler have all passed successfully. The system's lamp is in 'good' condition, with 209 operating hours and running at 5.597 amps, having been replaced on June 24, 2020. Note that the unit has yet to receive spectral calibration, requiring an Applied Biosystems real-time PCR system spectral calibration kit.
