The Applied Biosystems 7300 Real Time PCR System is an advanced unit sourced from a university laboratory as surplus equipment. It includes a primary real-time PCR unit and is accompanied by a Dell Optiplex 380 computer outfitted with a monitor, keyboard, mouse, USB and monitor cables. Running on a freshly installed Windows XP, the computer comes pre-loaded with Applied Biosystems Sequence Detection Software (SDS) Version 1.2.3, offering comprehensive support for real-time PCR applications.
The 7300 system has undergone rigorous functional testing with successful outcomes: USB, CCD, filter wheel, shutter, lamp, and thermal cycler components all passing diagnostic checks with their firmware current at version G2.10. The lamp remains in good condition, with a total of 1444 usage hours since its last replacement on 08/01/2008. Note that the system will necessitate ROI calibration before further use.
