The Biometra TAdvanced Thermocycler is designed for high-efficiency PCR applications with a capacity to handle 96 tubes of 0.2 ml or 96 well microplates. Equipped with gold-coated silver blocks, it ensures superior heat distribution. The unit boasts a maximum heating rate of 6.0°C/sec and a cooling rate of 4.0°C/sec, with average rates at 5.5°C/sec and 3.5°C/sec respectively. It achieves remarkable temperature uniformity, maintaining ± 0.50°C at 95°C, ± 0.25°C at 70°C, and ± 0.15°C at 55°C within 15 seconds. The thermocycler's gradient and temperature ranges extend from 3°C to 99°C, controlled with an accuracy of ± 0.1°C. The lid temperature is adjustable from 30°C to 110°C. Compact in size, its dimensions are 277 x 457 x 264 mm, and it weighs 15 kg, making it a robust yet efficient option for molecular biology and biotechnology laboratories.
