We were unable to test it at our facility but the lab confirmed that it was working prior to removal. It has a Renishaw Probe Head Controller PHC10-2 and Virtual-DMIS Version 3.2 and Version 4.0 software discs which run it.

This Beckman Coulter Biomek NXp Laboratory Automation Workstation was removed from a university lab  (more)where it was surplus to requirements. Everything powers up and the system is in good cosmetic condition with some marks from use. There appears to be an issue with at least one of the injectors. When we attempt to 'home' the robot head it will start to home the various parts, then stall and with an error code 'error homing: Y2 Axis error: Motion error; the axis was unable to perform the specified move. (0100) We believe the issue is with the #2 injector side-to-side motor. The up-and-down motor appears to run well. This error makes it impossible to home the system. The microscope focus motor/Z-Drive has been removed from this unit. We have removed the microscope focus motor/Z-Drive from this system. It is sold for spares/repairs. When connected up to the power supply we could not hear the unit power on.Inside the unit it appears have been tampered with as there are several cables and connector cables not attached to anything the EARTH cable is also not attached.
