The HX5.EX scale is a modern weighing instrument assuring fast and reliable measurement in hazardous (more) areas classified as zones 1/21 and 2/22. To ensure precision and excellent measurement repeatability, high quality electronic components are used. The weighing platforms offered in wide range of dimensions and maximum capacities, this combined with excellent metrological parameters enables easy selection of an instrument that meets the most demanding requirements. Standard version of the scale is equipped with 2 serial, intrinsically safe RS232 communication interfaces, and with one RS485 interface. They facilitate cooperation with equipment intended for operation in hazardous areas. Possibility to add digital inputs/outputs extends the range of instruments compatible with the indicator by automatic elements compliant with ATEX directive. More demanding customers can use the IM01.EX module, installed in the safe area, which extends the available connectors by Ethernet, USB, 4-20mA/0- 10V analog outputs, Profibus DP and additional digital inputs/outputs. This enables cooperation with external devices: barcode scanners, printers, external displays, control buttons, light signalling towers, other controlling/signalling devices, systems for automatic process control and superior IT systems. Scale operation requires use of a dedicated PM01.EX power supply, which is not a standard scale component. To operate the scale, order a selected type of the dedicated intrinsically safe power supply. Power supply types: PM01.EX-1 - power supply for operation in ATEX area. Used when it is required to connect the power supply to voltage source placed in hazardous area. PM01.EX-2 - power supply for operation outside ATEX area. Used when power supply connection to voltage source is carried out outside hazardous area. Complex software enables carrying out many tasks connected with mass measurement, e.g. parts counting, checkweighing and statistics. The scales feature user-friendly graphic interface, which can be customized using widgets. This and the large colour display of high resolution guarantee easy and clear transmission of data on current process. Colour bar graph significantly influences performance by signalling whether the weighing result is within declared thresholds or not.

The HX7 H is a mechanical design combining into one a PUE HX7 terminal and a 4-load-cell platform, b (more)oth made of stainless steel. High protection class, IP66 / IP68, makes the HX7 H a scale that can be used in harsh industrial conditions. 4 load cells guarantee correct weighing regardless of load placing at the platform. Equipment The scale provides 7" colour graphic display and a bar graph consisting of 9 diodes emiting red and green light. The bar graph is a graphic visualisation of the current net weight referred either to the scale range or predetermined min and max thresholds. Housing back is equipped with hermetic communication interfaces such as RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet, at your disposal there are also digital inputs/outputs and analogue output. This enables cooperation with external devices such as: barcode scanners, printers, external displays, control buttons, light signalling towers, controlling/signalling devices, systems for automatic process control, superior IT systems. With use of the bracket you can either place the terminal at any flat horizontal surface, or fix it to the wall adjusting the tilt respectively to suit your needs. Databases The terminal's software allows carrying out processes such as weighing, parts counting, dosing, labelling, formulations and percent weighing. Terminal’s system of information is based on databases: users, products, weighings, packaging, formulations, customers, ALIBI memory which guarantees stored data safety.

This Leica TCS SP 2 Confocal Microscope System was removed from a university lab due to a fault. The (more) university reported "Apparently it was a computer issue, in that the computer failed and would no longer talk to the confocal and nothing could be done to remedy the issue since Leica wont support it, I’m told the actual microscope and lasers are fine (if old!)" From our assessment, the microscope appears to be fully working and it could be split from the main system and used on its own. The controllers etc for the automated stage also appeared to work fine. It is just the AOBS head and control system that doesn't want to communicate with the PC. The system has been fully connected up at our facility. We have replaced the PCi card but that did not generate any success either. When starting the Leica PC program it shows the following message: "AOBS Crystal Ctrl (2)" reports 0 unlocked PLL channel(s)! Please lock channel(s) or reset controller. The AOBS is the scanner head which is attached to the main control desk. We have also tried the system with another identical head that we have in stock. That gave us exactly the same result. It is sold for spares/repairs. Please note that the marble table in the photos was retained by the lab.
