The AP-12.5Y is designed to calibrate multichannel pipettes starting at 10 μl. The device feature (more)s a readability [d] of 0.01 mg and can calibrate up to 12-channel fixed-volume and variable-volume pipettes. Because the pipette calibration on the AP-12.5Y is fully automatic, it is four times faster. The calibration procedure for a 12-channel pipette takes less than 20 minutes, not six hours, on this instrument. When purchasing the AP-12.5Y, you get: two calibrated sensors: THB S and THB W, two weighing pans: standard, and for balance test and calibration, two pumps: a single-channel pump and a four-channel pump The ergonomic design of the AP-12.5Y makes it possible to empty weighing vessels, and their overfilling is signalled by Ambient Light. When calibrating a multichannel pipette, a four-channel pump is used to simultaneously remove water from four vessels, greatly reducing the time required for pipette calibration. After emptying a 12-channel pipette, the AP-12.5Y checks all channels in a single cycle. In addition to a database of pipette calibration reports, the AP-12.5Y includes a database of pipettes that is editable and contains maximum permissible error values according to ISO 8655. The report database, in turn, contains measurements and error values calculated for individual points and volumes. The user determines the format and content of the reports. The AP-12.5Y monitors the ambient conditions using calibrated sensors: THB S (ambient conditions measurement) and THB W (liquid temperature measurement), in accordance with ISO 8655. To calibrate the device with mass standards, the weighing pan must be replaced with a pan dedicated to checking and calibrating the balance (both are included in the standard equipment). The AP-12.5Y can calibrate not only 12-channel pipettes, but also single-channel pipettes.

THB sensor THB sensor is a device measuring ambient conditions, it cooperates with: a computer (1 se (more)nsor via USB 2.0 port); direct cooperation, a weighing device (1 sensor via USB 2.0 port); direct cooperation, a THBR Box (up to 4 sensors connected to THBR Box via USB 2.0 port). The THB sensor is designed to measure parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure, air density and vibrations level. Sensor registers level of permissible vibrations at the workstation, wherein the values of vibrations level are displayed within 0 - 100% range versus reference values in laboratory conditions. Values exceeding 100% threshold inform about potential occurrence of error greater than permissible error of mass measurement performed using weighing device. Each sensor has its own identification number that is assigned to measurements saved to the database. Ambient conditions can be monitored using: weighing instrument display website Windows OS application: THB Single or THB Multi Android application. On the basis of sent measurements, the THB Single or THB Multi software determines air temperature, humidity, pressure, density and permissible vibrations factor.

This as removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up but d (more)oes not function further. It shows "E2prom wrong! unable to run main program". We were advised it was not in working order prior to removal. It is sold for spares/repairs.

The AGV-8/1000 automatic comparator determines density and volume of mass standards of class E1 and  (more)lower in accordance with OIML R111. It is characterized by the highest accuracy and measurement stability ranging between 1g and 1kg. The AGV-8/1000 automatic comparator enables density determination to be carried out simultaneously for 7 mass standards using one reference weight. The comparator features specially designed feeder to load and unload the magazine with mass standards. The device is equipped with an additional circulator eliminating air bubbles and a top-class liquid temperature sensor of 0.001 ˚C accuracy. A weighing pan suspended on wires eliminates the eccentricity and minimizes the influence of liquid surface tension. Dedicated software enables to determine mass standards density and calculate uncertainty using A method according to OIML R111. It also allows to determine (verify) liquid density.

The anti-draft chamber is intended for balances featuring a weighing pan 128×128 mm. It is an  (more)optional equipment for balances operating in unfavourable ambient conditions (air movement air drafts). It is installed as replacement of a standard pan draft shield. The anti-draft chamber features slidable top and side doors ensuring unbounded access to the weighing pan.

This FASTER BH-EN 2004-D Class II Biological Safety Cabinet was removed from a university lab where  (more)it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and is in working order. It is in good cosmetic condition with minor marks from use. Internal Dimensions are W 119cm x D 59cm x H 73cm.
