VELP BOD Sensor Analysis System

The VELP BOD Sensor System offers an innovative and mercury-free solution for accurately determining Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD). It features a user-friendly, quick, and straightforward setup, where the sensor directly screws onto the sample bottle. The system employs a pressure transducer microprocessor which transmits BOD values in mg/l to the LED display and stores data at 24-hour intervals. Measurements can be taken at four different scales: 90, 250, 600, and 999 ppm, with higher values obtainable through sample dilution.

The BOD Sensor System 6 and 10 allow simultaneous analysis of 6 or 10 samples, respectively. Both systems include a stirring base, BOD sensors, dark glass bottles, CO2 absorption caps, and magnetic stir bars. Engineered for convenience, the stirring base fits multiple setups within a VELP incubator, maximizing laboratory efficiency.

Determine BOD values in five simple steps using VELP's respirometric technique to deliver highly reliable results.
