PhysX
PhysX is a physics engine developed by Nvidia for use in video games, simulations, and other interac (more)tive applications. It is designed to provide realistic physical behavior and interaction, such as rigid body dynamics, particle effects, and cloth and fluid simulation. PhysX is implemented as a software library that can be integrated into game engines and other interactive applications. It is designed to take advantage of the hardware acceleration capabilities of Nvidia graphics processing units (GPUs) to provide real-time, high-fidelity physical simulations. PhysX is widely used in the video game industry, and it has been incorporated into a number of popular game engines, including Unreal Engine and Unity. It is also used in a variety of other applications, such as simulations and visual effects, and it is available for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, and macOS. Operating system: Microsoft Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, iOS, Android License: BSD-3
