The 600S model is intended for use in non-GMP environments, while the related 600R configuration supports GMP environments and regulatory requirements.
- Wide flow-rate and pressure ranges support more than 40-fold column scaling.
- Designed for columns with an inner diameter range of 26 to 200 mm.
- Supports process development and scale-up from HiScale columns operated with ÄKTA avant systems to pilot-scale AxiChrom 50–200 columns and larger ÄKTA process systems.
- Compact bench-top format helps laboratories transition from development workflows toward pilot-scale bioprocessing and biopharmaceutical production.
- Intuitive process visualization and SNAP connectors simplify setup, tubing connections, and system changeover.
- Modular architecture allows additional inlets, outlets, and sensors to be added as process requirements evolve.
- The two-port column valve supports up-flow and down-flow operation and switching between run mode and column-packing mode for two columns.
- Module installation and activation are supported through the supplied tool and UNICORN software.
