The iScope IS.3153-PLFi/6 is a high-precision trinocular fluorescence microscope engineered for advanced molecular diagnostics, cell imaging, and biotechnological research applications. It features:

Optics: EWF 10x/22 mm wide-field eyepieces; Plan Fluarex infinity-corrected objectives with oil immersion options at 4x/0.15, 10x/0.35, S40x/0.75, and S100x/1.30 NA. All optics are treated with anti-fungal and anti-reflective coatings for optimized light transmission.
Head: Siedentopf trinocular head, 360° rotatable and 30° inclined, providing ergonomic adjustment with ±5 diopter and interpupillary distance adjustable from 48 to 76 mm. The vertical trinocular tube includes a 100:0/50:50 image selector and 23.2 mm camera adapter for fluorescence imaging and documentation.
Stage: Scratch-resistant mechanical stage measuring 187/230 x 140 mm with smooth XY movement (79 x 52 mm), vernier scales, and dual specimen clamps enabling secure positioning of two samples simultaneously.
Focus Mechanism: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs with 200 graduations, 1 μm precision, 200 μm per rotation, and 24 mm total travel. Includes adjustable stage lift stop to protect samples and objectives, with tension control on coarse focus.
Illumination:
- Fluorescence: 100W HBO mercury vapor lamp with 6-position turret for multiple fluorescence filter cubes. Supplied with standard blue (EX 460–490 nm, EM 500 nm LP) and green (EX 510–550 nm, EM 570 nm LP) excitation filters. UV protection plate included for operator safety.
- Brightfield: 3W Köhler NeoLED illumination providing uniform, high-contrast lighting conducive to cell imaging and synthetic biology workflows.
Condenser: Adjustable Abbe condenser with NA 1.25 suitable for brightfield, phase contrast (future upgrade), and darkfield applications at magnifications up to 400x.
Energy-saving Features: Integrated ICARE sensor automatically powers off illumination after inactivity, reducing power consumption during prolonged bioprocessing or molecular cloning sessions.
Cable Management: Cable Storage System (CSS) facilitates neat cable handling during operation and storage.
Included Accessories: Power cord, dust cover, user manual, immersion oil (5 ml), spare fuse, UV protection plate; shipped in polystyrene packaging for safe transport.
