The Agilent G1120A Multicell Transport is an accessory for Agilent 8453 and 8454 UV-Visible Spectrophotometers featuring:
- A cell holder accommodating eight cells in a rack format
- Cells maintained at constant temperature by circulating water from an external thermostatic bath
- Motorized transport base with a stepper motor to position specific cells in the optical path
- Compatibility with a water-driven magnetic stirrer in two possible holder positions (stirrer not included)
- Cell dimension requirements: 12.5 × 12.5 mm outer size, 15 mm height from base to sample area
- Cell retention ensured by flat springs inside compartments; no extra fixing mechanism needed
- Control integration via Agilent UV-visible operating software revision A.05.xx or higher through the accessory interface
- Not compatible with older Hewlett-Packard models: HP 8450, HP 8451, HP 8452A
All units are factory-tested to meet performance specifications prior to shipment.
