The Nihon Kohden ET-612J is a used rack-mount pulse counter module designed for research, measurement, and system instrumentation applications. It accepts external pulse signals through dedicated sampling/gate and count pulse inputs and displays count values on a front-panel 7-segment digital display.

- Counting range adjustment: MAX LEVEL dial from 10³ to 10⁶
- Output: Analog signal proportional to the counting result

- Operating controls: RESET button and STEP/HOLD switch
- Construction: Rack-mount module with internal multi-core cabling and circuit boards
