The model 250EX electrophoresis power supply is intended to be used with electrophoresis devices des (more)igned to operate at or below 250 volts and 500 milliamps. Four sets of output connectors operate in parallel to provide a constant voltage (10 – 250 V) or constant current (10 – 500 mA), the maximum power output is 125 watts.

The PowerPac Basic power supply is designed to provide constant voltage or current electrophoresis a (more)pplications. The power supply operates at the value specified for the constant parameter, with limits for the other parameters. To prevent damage to the electroferese cell, the PowerPac Basic provides automatic crossover to constant current or constant voltage depending on which set limit is first reached. If the set limit of the non constant parameter is reached, the power supply will switch, making the limiting non constant parameter the new constant. Spectra Physics Mai Tai HR067 Laser and J80-8SS-28K Power Unit This system was removed from a labora (more)tory where it was surplus to requirements. The system is in very good cosmetic condition. The laser power supply powered on with cooling fans running, the display screen shows successful self-tests, and system details are displayed. However, according to the previous owner, "The FLIM card works but the multiphoton laser doesn't. At last inspection it would required £30K to repair the laser."  Therefore, no further testing was carried out, and it is listed as Spares/Repair.
