The Velp Scientifica D20-S20F-P-R20C dispersion tool is expertly designed to support a wide range of sample processing applications. Ideal for food homogenization, preparation of spreadable creams, and food stuffing, it ensures efficient results with meat and vegetable products. The tool excels in preparing samples for DNA analysis, processing organic tissue dispersions, and homogenizing tobacco leaves.
Additionally, it is well-suited for processing textile fibers, enhancing the laboratory's versatility. Sterilization and cleaning can be easily adapted to the construction materials and processed samples, ensuring compliance with sterile environments.
Technical specifications include a rotor diameter of 15 mm, a stator diameter of 20 mm, a stator/rotor gap of 0.5 mm, and it accommodates volumes from 50 to 2,000 ml. With an immersion depth ranging from 40 to 175 mm, it operates at speeds up to 25,000 rpm, offering a maximum circumferential speed of 19.6 m/s. The tool can achieve ultimate fineness of 1-7 µm in emulsions and 5-40 µm in suspensions, and withstands temps up to 180 °C. Materials like AISI 316L and PTFE are safe for use with solvents.
