The Velp OV 625 Digital is a laboratory disperser designed for efficient homogenization of tissues, plants, foods, soils, and various other materials. It features:
- Speed control: Bright LED display and rotary knobs allowing precise speed adjustment from 3,000 to 25,000 rpm
- Mechanism: Rotor-stator system with a blade rotor dispersing tool that generates high shear forces for rapid homogenization, emulsification, suspension, and high-speed mixing
- Materials compatibility: Stainless steel (316L) dispersing tools with PTFE seals, suitable for different sample types and reagents
- Safety & durability: Gradual speed ramp-up to setpoint, overload and overtemperature alarms, resistant and hermetic structure
- Accessories: Quick-release system and interchangeable dispersing tools for tailoring to fluid types and fineness of dispersion
- Applications: Suitable for biological tissues, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food products
- Warranty: Up to 3 years
The disperser forces fluid through a narrow shear gap between the high-speed rotor and stator, breaking particles via high shear stress for uniform mixtures. Optional double-rod stand increases operational comfort.
