KB 18-40 FRYKA refrigeration bath

This Thermo Scientific VersaCool Refrigerated Circulating Water Bath was removed from a university l (more)ab where it was surplus to requirements. The unit powers up and is in very good cosmetic condition. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included). Heating:-Tested with water, the temperature was set to 37˚c, the temperature quickly went up to 38˚c while the thermometer read 37˚c. It was then tested up to the maximum temperature (for water) of 90˚c which it reached after around 10 minutes, thermometer also read 90˚c. It can go higher but we didn't want it to boil. It is rated for 150˚C. Cooling:-Tested with Antifreeze, the temperature was set to -20˚c, it dropped quite quickly to -8˚c but seemed to stop cooling from there, only dropping a further 0.3˚c over the next few hours. The thermometer read -9.6˚c. This is likely due to the concentration of antifreeze used.

Memmert WNE-10 Water Bath 10L This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to require (more)ments. The unit is in full working order. it has been tested against a digital thermometer (not included). It is in reasonable cosmetic condition but is very stained inside.
