The Okolab NIKON SMZ25 GLASS/METAL is a large metal-glass heater designed to create a flat heating surface for stereo microscope stands with:
- Central glass part coated with Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) for uniform heating
- Two independent heating elements and sensors: one for the glass surface, one for the wide lateral metal surface
- Dual surface temperature control allows setting different temperatures for metal and glass areas
- Temperature range: ambient to 45°C, accuracy ±0.3°C
- Compatible with Nikon SMZ stereo microscope stands: P2-PB, P2-DBC, P2-DBF, P-PS32, P-DSL32, and P-DSF32
Requires the H401-T-CONTROLLER to operate both heating channels:
- 2-channel temperature controller with 4.3" touch screen interface
- Controls up to two devices independently
- Temperature range: ambient to 60°C
- Accuracy on specimen: ±0.3°C
- External temperature sensor included, with self-calibration routines and password-protected calibration procedures against certified thermometers
- On-board data logging and USB download for temperature, calibration events, and alarms
- Alarm buzzer and external alarm connector for safety monitoring
This system ensures precise and uniform temperature control for sensitive heating applications in microscopy.
