Gardner Denver Welch Cold Trap. Cold trap for suction and vacuum lines or Schlenk lines. It reaches  (more)−79 °C by using a mixture of dry ice and isopropanol or liquid nitrogen. Maintains temperature for 12 hours if dry ice/isopropanol is used or 2 hours if liquid nitrogen is used. 2.8 L internal glass. Transparent lid for visual inspection. Easy cleaning. The Gardner Denver Welch cold trap is used to process samples with low eutectic points. The trap is connected in series with a freeze-drying system or vacuum evaporation system and a vacuum pump to prevent contaminants from migrating to the vacuum pump.
