Leitz Laborlux 12 Fluorescence Microscope

The Leitz Laborlux 12 is a sophisticated fluorescence microscope designed for precision in research applications. It features a binocular viewing system and is capable of both brightfield and fluorescence imaging, ensured by Köhler illumination. The unit comes equipped with 10x eyepieces and objectives corrected to infinity, including: EF 10 / 0.25, EF 25 / 0.50, and EF 100 / 1.25 OEL, as well as fluorescence objectives Fluoreszenz 40 / 0.75 and Fluoreszenz 63 / 1.30 OEL. The Leitz 301-180 power supply supports fluorescence functions. Included are fluorescence filters: Blue Ex 490 nm / Em 515 nm and Green 520 nm / Em 630 nm. The microscope also features an XY coaxial platform for ease of specimen navigation.
For illumination, it uses a halogen lamp providing a white, even light with an output of 6V 20W for transmitted light, and a mercury lamp HBO 100W for fluorescence illumination. This combination ensures high-quality imaging across a variety of research needs.
