Designed for simultaneous screening in industry-standard 96-, 384-, or 1536-well microwell plates, this instrument performs in situ measurements without fluid transfer, ensuring sample integrity and efficiency in workflows such as protein crystallization optimization and biotherapeutic formulation screening.
Key technical features include:
- Nanoparticle size detection range: 0.5 to 1000 nm (hydrodynamic radius by DLS), enabling detailed analysis of proteins, polymers, and nanoparticles essential in synthetic biology and gene editing research.
- Molar mass detection by SLS: 1000 Da to 1 MDa, facilitating characterization of biomolecules in molecular cloning and bioprocessing pipelines.
- Sensitivity: Detects lysozyme at concentrations as low as 0.125 mg/mL, suitable for monitoring aggregation and stability of biologics.
- Sample volume minimum: Only 4 µL required using 1536-well plates, optimizing throughput and conserving precious samples used in cell imaging and clinical diagnostics.

This unit is sold as parts only, with operational laser and camera functions; however, the Peltier heating/cooling system is non-functional due to power issues. It is ideal for repair, refurbishment under a Wyatt service contract, or as a spare for existing DynaPro PlateReader III users.
The instrument package includes the DynaPro PlateReader III, a 9 mm plate insert, digital user manual, and N2 connector with tubing.
