Perfectly suited for lab environments requiring exact temperature control and optimum reproducibility.

The AREX 5 Digital Magnetic Stirrer presents an elegant dual digital display that accommodates thermoregulation of samples with an accuracy margin of ± 1.0 °C. Enhanced accuracy of ± 0.5°C is achievable courtesy of the sophisticated VTF system.

Optional are Pt100 and Pt1000 probes.


DURABILITY, SAFETY, AND EFFICIENCY

The AREX 5 Digital Velp model's plate is IP42 certified and constructed from an aluminum alloy coated with a ceramic layer, defending against scratches and chemical corrosion, ensuring robustness and effortless cleaning. This makes it especially favored in laboratories using solvents, acids, and bases.


In-built safety circuits and overheat protection ensure comprehensive safety for all operators. Dual light indicators notify the user when the heat function is operational. Even when shut off, a 'HOT' warning remains on display until the plate temperature descends below 50°C.

An additional alarm detects probe presence.


The plate structure and buffering disc shield internal components while possessing high resistance to demanding laboratory conditions and applications, including working with sub-zero fluids.


With its sturdy construction, the AREX 5 is built for longevity, and like most VELP products, comes with a 3-year warranty.


THERMOREGULATION

Connecting a temperature probe allows the user to choose between two thermoregulation modes to cater to all laboratory necessities:

- FAST: Quickly achieving the predetermined temperature

- FINE: Reaching the desired temperature more slowly to minimize overshoot


STIRRING CAPABILITIES

The AREX 5 is powered by a robust brushless motor for daily use with a stirring capacity of up to 20 liters (H2O). It includes SpeedServo™ technology, ensuring consistent speed even with varying sample viscosity.


The powerful brushless motor and robust magnetic coupling guarantee uniform stirring, including peripheral plate areas, thereby maintaining constant speed in all positions.


DESIGN

Its compact, innovative, and aesthetically pleasing design promotes comfort and safety for both benchtop applications and within laboratory fume cupboards.

The incline of the front panel is tailored to enhance user experiences, while the bright LED display facilitates easy monitoring of temperature and stirring speed.

MA.X2.A series is equipped with innovative system: the drying chamber can be opened and closed automatically using button or proximity sensors. Such solution allows: Maintaining moisture analyzer clean – operator does not touch moisture analyzer’s housing. Removing any shocks caused by manual closing of the chamber – the chamber closes automatically and always with the same intensity. Achieving high repeatability of opening and closing the drying chamber. Enhancing drying process automation. This robust design facilitates weighing of heavy loads in humid environment. The ramps enable easy loading and unloading. Indicator with a colour 7” graphic display and a diode bar graph allow to observe visualisation of a current load mass presented in relation to the scale range or declared minimum and maximum thresholds. This makes the operation significantly easier. At the back of the housing there are hermetic connectors of RS232, RS485, USB and Ethernet communication interfaces, plus digital inputs/outputs and analogue output.
