Ohaus Guardian 2000 - Economically Efficient, General Stirring and Heating Device
The Guardian 2000 by Ohaus is the ideal solution for educational institutions and laboratories requiring rapid, cost-effective daily heating and reliable stirring of up to 15 litres. Every model in the range is equipped with a user-friendly control knob for straightforward adjustment of heating and stirring functions.
Constructed robustly, the device even offers an optional support rod holder. Stir models come standard with PTFE coated stir bars.

Applications
This device can be employed for boiling liquids, sample and stock solution preparation, buffer and dissolution reagent creation, media preparation, and sample concentration.
Display
The apparatus features an indicator light for the hot plate, illuminating green when the unit is actively heating or stirring.
Functionality
Boasting simple knob control, agitation ability up to 1600 rpm, temperature controllable up to 500°C (or 380°C for the round plate model). It comes paired with an essential power cord. Agitation models are accompanied by a PTFE coated stir bar.
Construction
The Guardian is built with heavy-duty metal housing, a PET front panel, control knobs, an ON/OFF switch to seamlessly disconnect the heater, an integral support rod holder, and an easy-to-clean ceramic coated resin, ceramic, or stainless steel top.
Designed with a clear and unambiguous control panel, it ensures maximum safety in an educational setting.
Models are equipped with quick and secure on/off switches.

The Guardian 2000 comes in a total of 9 variant models, with options for hotplate only, magnetic stirring only, or a combination of both. Additionally, customers can choose according to the plate size: 102x102mm; 174x174mm; or Ø135mm.
